Rules and Lesson Details

1. The lessons are held at: Marine House  Marine Parade  Seaford BN25 2PY.  Marine House is between Claremont Road and Connaught Road, two doors away from Beachlands Nursing Home on the corner of Connaught Road

2. Please use the parking bays in Marine Parade.  Please ensure that you park within the bays provided as traffic wardens patrol the area!!
 
3. Walk up the drive and past the front door.  The entrance to the pool is to the left of the garage door.
 
4. Please REMOVE SHOES before entering the pool area.  For hygiene reasons this rule must be adhered to.
 
5. Please ensure you arrive with plenty of time to change and get ready for the lesson. Pupils must be ready on the pool side at least 5 mins before the start of their lesson. Lessons are held promptly every half hour.
 
6. Due to space constraints please ONLY bring what is necessary for the lesson: all swimming aids will be provided.
 
7. The pupil MUST shower before entering the pool.
 
8. Clothes may be left in the changing room at the owners risk - no liability is accepted and for this reason please do not bring valuables onto the premises.  Blue boxes are provided for clothing to be stored during the lesson.
 
9. The pupil MUST wear a swimming hat for all lessons, this is for hygiene reasons.
 
10. For safety and hygiene reasons no jewellery or makeup may be worn, (this includes body/face paint) and must be removed/washed off before entering the pool.
 
11. The pupil must not have eaten for at least 1 hour before the lesson.
 
12. The pupil MUST NOT come to the lesson if he/she has a cold or temperature.
 
13. Food/drink is NOT ALLOWED on the poolside (except bottled water). 
 
14. Please ensure the pupil wears appropriate clothing, large baggy shorts create drag and resistance in the water impeding swimming ability.
  
15. For Baby-Swim classes babies must wear a double layer of water proof nappies.  Baby changing tables are provided.  Space is limited for parents and babies to change so please allow plenty of time and come prepared!
 
16. Please take all rubbish (including nappies) home with you.

17. You, the parent, are responsible for your child out of the pool.

 

Pool Information

Temperature: the pool temperature is usually 33 degrees which feels like a warm bath.

Sanitisation:  Easy-Swim's pool is professionally maintained by South Coast Pools www.southcoastpools.co.uk. There is an automatic dosing system installed which keeps the chemicals at optimum levels.
